Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood – The Animals

As I’ve gotten older, fiction’s become a more private outlet. Of course, I’ve love to one day free the novel trapped inside me. Perhaps that’s something I could well document here a little further down the line.
For more personal personifications of emotion, I run a poetry account on Instagram, as well as own the site you’re on right now.

Traversing life has given me a wealth of experience and writing has provided me with not only catharsis but also a voice to help others. Tea With Tasha started as an intended safe haven for those who may need a breather from life’s intensity. With that said, I hope it also provides a sense of connection and support. We all go through life, there’s no need to travel alone.

Whether it’s reading the word of others, or writing my own, I’ve always had an intense love for the written word. It has the ability to reach people in ways other mediums can’t and lets you live the lives of thousands of people in worlds both near and far.
Growing up, I was the kid who either had her head stuck in a book, or scribbled away on scraps of paper, building characters and worlds like it was no one’s business. Within the growing stacks of paper, I found elements of myself and troubles which had previously been wordless laid bare.

If, after all that, you’re ager a little more, you can also find me at Distorted Sound Magazine where I am the Heavy Music History Editor and Rock Sins where I’m the Reviews Editor.
You can find features and reviews on the latest hard rock, metalcore, and heavy metal acts.
